1JO 1:9 If we acknowledge our sins, He is faithful and righteous, with the result that He forgives us our sins and purifies us from all unrighteousness.
Well, the most obvious answer is JAM 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Wisdom is a cooperative effort
An eagle is the most majestic fowl of the air just as a lion is the king among all the beasts of the earth.
David said to the Lord, "Thou art my Lord; I have no good besides Thee. As for the saints who are in the earth, They are the majestic ones in whom is all my delight."
Eagles are also known for being quick-sighted and they can see afar off.
Eagles are also very swift creatures; they have long wings, by which they fly with great swiftness.
When David was grieving over the death of Saul and Jonathan, he made this statement in 2SA 1:23 "Saul and Jonathan, beloved and pleasant in their life, And in their death they were not parted; They were swifter than eagles,"
Eagles are also known for not getting weary or tired while they're flying.
The apostle Paul said in GAL 6:9 And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.
Eagles are also known for flying high and they aim at high things; they will not catch flies, they scorns to stoop to such low game.
As believers we are told in COL 3:1 If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
COL 3:2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
Eagles are known for making their nest on high as God says in
JOB 39:27-28, "Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up, And makes his nest on high? On the cliff he dwells and lodges, Upon the rocky crag, an inaccessible place."
Eagles renew their strength by changing their feathers and even though they are old they seem young and lively again.
COL 3:10 "Put on the new man who is being renewed according to epignosis knowledge according to the image of the One who created him ."
In PSA 103:2,5, David said "Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle."
Young eagles are born, and carried upon the wings of the old eagle, and thereby are preserved from the dangers of enemies.
In EXO 19:4, the Lord said "You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings, and brought you to Myself."
For example, a soldier must give up his freedom to serve his country and a believer is to give up his freedom to serve TLJC.
A soldier must leave all of his worldly affairs behind as he goes forward to serve his country.
The first thing that a soldier does is to go into training after he has enlisted in the military and the first thing all believers need is spiritual training through the intake of doctrine.
First of all, we need to go back to ECC 9:13-15 where Solomon finally found something that impressed him, more then academia, pleasure, money, wealth, reputation and sex.
Now, spiritually speaking the small city with few men in it is a reference to the believer's soul which has a choice between divine viewpoint and the different forms of human viewpoint.
The great king who came to it and surrounded it and constructed large siegeworks against it is a reference to the god of this world, Satan.
The poor wise man who delivered the city is a reference to the believer who makes doctrinal decisions and overcomes the temptations and the strategies of the devil.
The point is that there is a great and powerful king surrounding you and doing his best to construct a siege or a fortress against you to try and stop you from going forward in the plan of God and hinder your spiritual growth.
He is called your adversary, the devil in 1PE 5:8.
You can strive to build all the dreams in the world that you desire, but without God at the very center of every area of your life, you will live like a prairie chicken rather than a soaring eagle.
We know that Satan is a king because he has a kingdom according to MAT 12:26, and he is the ruler of that kingdom.
Remember what our Lord said to the religious Jews in JOH 8:23 "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world."
That's why we are told in EPH 6:16 in addition to all [the armor of God], taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one.
Satan has invisible missiles that attack the soul and cause human viewpoint on the part of believers which neutralizes them and draws them away from the PPOG.
The ultimate goal of the king who attacks your soul is to do whatever he can to take you away from the PPOG and the teaching of Bible doctrine.
