The Lord Jesus Christ - God, Creator, King - Part 9

1JO 1:9  If we acknowledge our sins, He is faithful and righteous, with the result that He forgives us our sins and purifies us from all unrighteousness.

In Christ all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. COL 2:3

All of God's wisdom and knowledge are revealed by Christ and are contained in Him. He is the complete revelation of God's purpose.

In him and nowhere else, are spiritual wisdom and knowledge to be found.
He is the key that opens all the treasures that are in God.

The whole realm of Bible doctrine is in Jesus Christ. He is the reservoir of all knowledge.

Wisdom is the ability to judge correctly and to follow the best course of action, based on knowledge and understanding.

Spiritual wisdom involves living life in the light of the revelation of God’s will in His Word and applying this knowledge to the events of life.

It is from the Word of God alone that we learn the perfection of man’s original nature, and the loss of that perfection through the fall of Adam and the woman.

From all eternity, God foresaw the state to which the human race would be reduced, and how He would gain their recovery. The Son was to become our Substitute and Salvation.

He satisfied the justice of God which we had offended. He restored us to peace with God. He accomplished the redemption of the world.

Knowledge is the understanding of truth, whereas wisdom is the ability to apply what truth has been learned.

Knowledge is the mental possession of the truth, wisdom is the power of forming right decisions according to the truth possessed.

Until you go after them, the treasures remain hidden.

They may only be seen by those with the Holy Spirit guiding their lives.

There will always be throughout eternity fresh treasures to be discovered from their hidden state.
