The Forty Grace Gifts Given at Salvation - Part 3.

  The Junior Tree of Life

BEFORE we begin, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ, take a moment to name your sins to God the Father. This will allow you to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit as you read this booklet ( EPH 5:18 & 1JO 1:9).
IF YOU HAVE never believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have that opportunity right now. Simply tell God the Father that you are believing on His Son
Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you make that
decision, you are now a believer and will always be a child of God! When you die, you will spend eternity with Him forever in heaven! (JOH 3:16 & ACT 16:31).

In our study of the 40 Grace Gifts Given At Salvation, we’ve come to the eleventh Gift which is A Secure, Immovable Foundation. When something is secure, it is something you can count on. Secure means reliable. At the moment of faith in Christ, we are instantly placed on A Secure, Immovable Foundation - and that Foundation is Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone. (EPH 2:20) The Lord Jesus Christ is described as the Rock of our salvation: The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He. (DEU 32:4) The impeccable Person and Finished Work of Christ combine to form this Secure Foundation. All believers can rest, assured of his or her eternal salvation because of this Secure, Immovable Foundation.

Now, wait! Gift number 12 is wayyyyyy cool. It’s the Gift which makes YOU a gift! Scratching your head? Well, YOU are given, as a Gift, to the Lord Jesus Christ because you’re a member  of the Royal Family of God!! God the Father is actually forming a Royal Family for His Son in the Church-age. The Lord Jesus Christ is called "King of Kings, and Lord of Lords" in REV 19:16: And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” This verse describes Him as the Head of the Royal Family of God which is made up of Church-age believers, like you and your family. Any person who is a believer is part of this AMAZING group! The Royal Family of God is presented to Christ as His bride at the rapture of the Church. The Rapture will be the end of the Church Age when all believers will be taken to Heaven with The Lord. The Church Age has been going on for about 2,000 years and we don’t know exactly when the Rapture will happen. It can happen at any time. It will happen when the last member of the Royal Family of God is saved.  And because the Royal Family of God is presented to Christ as His bride at the Rapture, Gift number 12 is called Being Presented as a Gift from God the Father to God the Son!  Imagine what an event that will be!! How does it feel to know you’re a GIFT?!!

Gift number 13 is an outstanding one - it’s Deliverance from the Great White Throne Judgment and the Lake of Fire. This basically means that because we believe, we don’t go to hell - the lake of fire. All judgment is removed at the moment we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The following two verses cover this: JOH 3:18: He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And ROM 8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Unbelievers will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment and then go to the Lake of Fire. But remember, they will not be judged according to their sins as many religions teach. These teachings are lies because the Lord Jesus Christ paid for their sins! Unbelievers will be judged according to their works. At the Great White Throne Judgment, unbelievers’ good and evil works (deeds) will be evaluated and then they will receive just condemnation. They receive condemnation because they rejected The Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior. They receive judgment because all of the "good" deeds they performed were done in human power not in the power of the Holy Spirit. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small,

standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (REV 20:11-15)

Believers will be evaluated at the Bema Seat to determine whether or not they will receive rewards. Think of the Bema Seat Judgment as Jesus Christ’s Awards Ceremony where some believers will shine! But some other believers—maybe not so much. This depends on how much the believer was willing to follow God’s plan for their life.

The 14th Grace Gift Given at Salvation is Identification with God the Son in Biblical Analogy. Now that’s a mouthful! Let’s learn what an analogy is. An analogy is when you talk about two things which have similar features. As for our subject, at the moment of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, the Church-age believer becomes related to God the Son through eight special Biblical connections. These eight connections are analogies. They are:

1) The last Adam and the new creation: So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam [Jesus Christ] became a life-giving spirit. (1CO 15:45)

2) The Head and the body: He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. (COL 1:18a) {to be continued}
