The New Testament analogy of the Old Testament Fish Gate. As revealed in the sealing of the Holy Spirit. Part 2.

a. First there is what is known as regeneration or being born again as taught in TIT 3:5; 1PE 1:23. b. The baptism of the Spirit which is the ministry of God the Holy Spirit in taking every new believer and entering him into union with the person of Jesus Christ. c. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit, 1CO 3:16; 1CO 6:19-20; 2CO 6:16.
2CO 6:16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
d. The fourth salvation ministry of the Holy Spirit is the sealing ministry of the Holy Spirit, EPH 1:13-14; EPH 4:30.
EPH 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
e. The distribution of spiritual gifts which occurs at the moment of salvation.
6. The sixth is efficacious grace; EPH 2:8. 7. The seventh is the filling of the Holy Spirit, EPH 5:18.
Spiritual gifts are simply an illustration of the grace policy of God and one of the forty things that God gives to every believer at the moment of salvation.
Point 1. The Source of Spiritual Gifts is a Fascinating Subject Because it Involves All Three Members of the Trinity.
a. God the Father as the source is documented in HEB 2:4. b. Secondly, there is also the ministry of God the Son in the distribution of spiritual gifts, as in EPH 4:7-8. c. There is the ministry of God the Holy Spirit who gives to each one of us at salvation a spiritual gift as He wills, 1CO 12:11.
In HEB 2:4, notice that the distribution of these gifts are to be used as what HEB 2:4 calls "a witness."
And the word witness is the pres-act-part of the verb sunepimartureo which means to attest together with, to join in bearing witness, to unite in adding testimony.
You support and agree together with God. You join in bearing witness of the divine plan and the glorification of TLJC. You unite with other believers in adding testimony by building up and edifying the body of Christ.
This falls under such biblical principles as AMO 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Ecc 4, Two are better than one.
The Living Bible puts it even more simply,...."for the results can be much better."
We gain objectivity. We gain courage in threatening situations.
"Now wait a minute, there’s another way to look at that."
HEB 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
To man, friendship is indispensable and to that one who has no need and feels no need for it, he must be either much above the human nature or much below it.
‘Take a ladder’ was Constantine’s advice to such a one and climb up to heaven by thyself.’
