The New Testament analogy of the Old Testament Fish Gate. Filling of the Spirit and the Fruit of the Spirit. Part 9. Tom Cotroneo.

The filling of the Holy Spirit is a repeated experience.
We constantly need to be filled with spiritual power if we are to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord.

1] Allowing circumstances to overwhelm you blocking your momentum.
2] Allowing false doctrine to fester and grow.
3] Failing to use doctrine to handle the experiences of life.

At the moment of salvation, two of the grace gifts that we receive are the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the filling of the Holy Spirit.

We are forgiven because of who and what God is; because of who and what the Lord has done; not because of anything worthy in us.

1.] When a believer first believes, he is cleansed from all known sin and unrighteousness.
2] After salvation the believer must continually cleanse himself [rebound] to ensure continued fellowship with God.

God demonstrated His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners, His enemies, Christ died as a substitute for us.
