The Tower of no Power
Satan’s goal or main objective is to keep the unsaved person away from the truth or the message of salvation and to try to hinder the doctrinal believer from advancing in the spiritual life.

He is a master counterfeiter and the king of lies and deception.
ISA 14:10-14, EZE 28:12, GEN 1:1 (GAP), GEN 1:2, also JER 4:23, and ISA 45:18.

The indwelling of the serpent in the Garden of Eden resulting in the fall of man, GEN 3:1-7

While most Christians do not understand the importance of the humanity of Christ, Satan does and always has.

Genesis 6 – caused angels to infiltrate the human race causing God to exterminate the human race and saved Noah and his family. Jude v6, 2 Pet 3:19, 2 Pet 2:4

1.This was an attempt by Satan to destroy the true humanity or the seed of Abraham from being born.
2. How culture, art, music, science, pleasure, and so on, were used as substitutes for fellowship with God, and how none of them succeeded.

Beni ha Elohim. This word is invariably, without exception, used for angels, never men—JOB 1:6; 2:1, 38:7

KJV - without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright (-ly), whole.

The pinnacle of the tent will be the New Jerusalem where we will “tabernacle” with him for all eternity. REV 21:3

Nimrod (which means valiant, strong, or he that “rules”) was a, or began to be, a mighty one on Earth. Son of Cush, Son of Ham. Nimrod was a mighty hunter and a potent monarch whose land bore his name. GEN 10:8, 1 Chron 1:10, Micah 5:6

Nimrod was a type of anti-Christ. Nimrod built Babel in Babylon and Ninevah in Assyria. Nimrod forms his own government void of the Lord.

Satan takes perfect advantage of all this by causing the people to forget about God’s rule and authority to rule themselves without God through Nimrod’s self-made idols and idolatry.

This all foreshadows the future split between the God-fearing Jews in Israel and the disobedient, unbelieving Jews

It also depicts the split between the Jews and the Gentiles, as well as the divisions in the church of today, just as with the early church as Paul warned about many times.

Who causes division? Satan causes division

GEN 11:1 – One language, one speech.

God’s buildings are of stone: 1 Kings 6:7, 1 Kings 18:31-32, Matt 16:8, 1 Cor 3:12, MAT 7:24-27, 1 Pet 2:4-5

Stones – Divinely produced through God’s creation.Bricks – clay, sand, straw (1 Cor 3:11-15), tar, mortar. Man-made, God rejects man’s work, not done out of faith or belief. EXO 1:11-14

GEN 11:3 continued the making of bricks.

The Earth was ordained by God to bring forth life. GEN 1:11-12.

God created man as a clay vessel to contain himself

According to Zech 12:1, God ranks us holding His spirit as important as creating the heavens and the Earth. Also note: ROM 8:16, 1 Cor 6:17

Therefore, anything that goes against His original plan is independence from Him and ultimately controlled by his majesty the devil. The devil being the one who controls independence from God and the mind of the unbelieving. 2 Cor 4:4, John 5:37-38, REV 12:9, John 8:42-47.

GEN 11:3 – Bricks (man-made, satanic) vs. Stone (Divine, Godly). To have men making bricks is to burn the elements of the earth God created to grow life.

The rebellion and infiltration by satanic influence to build the Tower of Babel through the unbelievers was also an attempt to kill the elements of man (by the making of the bricks) that were created as a vessel to hold the divine. The burning of the bricks symbolizes Satan trying to burn out the divine life in us and use us (man) to build up a man-made, Godless culture like Babel and the Tower. The Tower being the monument to a Godless life

Satanic sarcasm towards God vs. Divine sarcasm of God towards satan.

The loss of God forced man to produce human culture to try to fill the void in their Godless life.

At Babel, man follows Satan and exalts himself, yet for possibly the 4th time to oppose God./

He rejects God’s name, he denies God’s authority government and governmental structure over man and through satanic influence, the majority of mankind at that time falls into idolatry. Romans 13:1-5

Satan’s 5th Influence: The fall of human government under God’s authority to a collective rebellion of the whole human race against God under Satan’s influence and instigation. ISA 59:1-8

God’s judgment at Babel scattered the people, but God’s blessing at Pentecost united the believers in the Spirit. At Babel, the people were unable to understand each other, but at Pentecost, men heard God’s praises and understood what was said.

The Tower of Babel was a scheme designed to praise men and make a name for men, but Pentecost brought praise to God. The building of Babel was an act of rebellion, but Pentecost was a ministry of humble submission to God. What a contrast!

The Tower was for Satan’s glorification all the while man was thinking it was for himself.
