The Angelic Conflict is all around us as we rush through life. The goal of this book was to provide the answer to life’s most
complex questions: “Why are we here?” “Why is there so much chaos?” “Why do the evil seem to prosper?” “What is beyond this life?”
Questions like these may seem extremely complex. However, like many things in life, the more complex a question seems, oftentimes the answer is not as complex as one may think. The Bible provides the answer to those questions: It is because of the Angelic Conflict. We are here because of the Angelic Conflict. We are here to be a part of the solution to that conflict. In our life here on earth, we are not so much human beings going through a spiritual experience, but as born-again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we are more like spiritual beings going through a human experience.
Once you realize why you are here, you will find your spiritual life revitalized. This book will provide you with not only answers,but also tools and weapons that God has made available for you to use in the conflict. The writing of this book is the result of over thirty years of study and teaching of the Word of God. The goal of Pastor McLaughlin in writing this book was to share with you, the reader, what he has learned through God’s grace during that time.

This booklet teaches how Bible doctrine must control your emotions if fear is to be conquered. Whether the conditions causing the fear are real or imaginary the results are the same. Regardless of its source, fear will torment and punish you, and the worst thing is, you do it to yourself. Fear is self-induced misery. Fear is worry, apprehension, horror, or consternation, all of which cause the person to become paralyzed toward their problems. People are afraid of many things, and death is usually at the top of the list. However, it's not death that a man should fear; rather he should fear never beginning to truly live. The mental attitude sin of fear will snatch the life right out of you.

The Cross An In-depth Look at the Cross of Christ Revealed in Scripture

But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; but whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (2 Corinthians 3:14-16)

In this Epistle to the Corinthians, the apostle Paul tells us that for the Jews the message of the Old Testament, which they so earnestly read, was veiled or hidden from them. This veil still exists for the Jews when Moses or the Torah is read, and it is in vain that the prophets are read. The deep meaning of the Psalms cannot be comprehended. The book of Isaiah relinquishes none of its treasures. David speaks a language that they cannot understand. This veil upon the hearts and minds of the Jews will not be removed until they turn to Christ and see that He is their crucified Savior, Messiah, and King.

The sad thing is that today, in the same way, there exists a veil that blinds the minds of Christians so that they may not see fully. They are not able to look deep into the Word of God and see all that is there. The only difference is that, in their case, it is in both the Old and the New Testaments! The entire Bible is in large measure veiled to these Christians. This veil has to do with the glory of the Cross of Christ throughout the Scriptures. The main prophecies in the Old Testament about Calvary are unheeded. In fact, God has nothing more wonderful to reveal to man than the Cross. Heaven knows of nothing as glorious as the Cross.

We are going to start with a simple yet important principle: What God does for one, He will do for others. 2TI 3:16 says that all Scripture is inspired by God. ACT 10:34 tells us that God is not one to show partiality. We trust in God’s Word the great doctrines of the Bible, it should follow that we also trust in His Word when it comes to our finances, and according to the Bible, God wants every believer to prosper.
For the Christians that have placed their faith and confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no true prosperity apart from God. Every category of prosperity; whether it is spiritual, temporal, historical, and even dying prosperity has God as its true source. He wants every believer to prosper according to His principles and guidelines as taught in the Bible.

The Doctrine of Prayer

Prayer is a powerful weapon in the believer's life. An important point to note first is that we are not to use prayer to try to get God to do what we want done. Many believers try touse prayer to get their own way, not God's way. Prayer must be compatible with God's will and God's way. Sometimes that may be our will and our way, but other times it may not.
1JO 5:14-15 "And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him."
Prayer is not designed to get us out of trouble, but rather to express our helplessness, our humility, our total dependence on God, and our recognition of His grace and His mercy toward us. Prayer is not what we want for ourselves, but what God wants for us. In fact, prayer is an expression and an extension of Bible doctrine resident in the soul.
We fail in prayer because we fail to understand and utilize Bible doctrine correctly.
JOH 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you."
Prayer was never designed to fulfill our lusts and desires; prayer is designed to fulfill the will, plan, and purpose of God for our lives.
This book looks at power of prayer and proper way to utilize that power to glorify our Lord.
